Community Involvement
Health & Safety Professionals Inc. has been very fortunate to operate in Sault Ste. Marie and Northern Ontario since 1998. We believe that corporate community involvement is a part of doing business. This is our way of saying “Thank You Algoma!”. We encourage all businesses to engage with their communities.

We support the work that ARCH Hospice provides to our community; quality, compassionate care through end-of-life to Algoma District families at no cost. The emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort of their residents is of paramount importance. In order to deliver their programs, ARCH requires $750,000 annually in community support. By donating to ARCH, you are contributing to the comfort of the entire community.

Health & Safety Professionals Inc. (HSPI) supports the work that Women in Crisis (Algoma) Inc. does in our community. As an innovative non-profit community-based organization, they work to provide advocacy, support, safe shelter, programs, and services for all women and children affected by abuse and violence. Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for women and their children who have been or are being affected by abuse and/or violence. Several times over the years, HSPI has sponsored a family at Christmas. We have shopped, wrapped and dropped off gifts for mom and her children. It’s a humbling experience to give back to the community, while remembering all of our good fortunes. I encourage other business to do the same. Email childcare@wicalgoma.com in early November to offer your support.

As a non-profit, charitable association, Club Calabrese offers support and assistance to the needy, the sick, and to various social agencies. Over the years, they have contributed to the many social agencies and individuals in Sault Ste. Marie.
