JHSC Part One Training: Joint Health and Safety Committee

Joint Health and Safety Committee Part One Certification is the first of two parts needed to become a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) certified member, as required by the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act. Part One, combined with Part Two, leads to JHSC certification.
Our three-day course is applicable to all sectors.
You must complete JHSC Part Two training within one year of completing JHSC Part One. There are no extensions.
We offer Part Two training in a unique way. While only six hazards (two-days) are required, learners can choose a third day (additional three hazards) if requested by their workplace or as professional development.

- JHSC Part One Participant Workbook
- HSPI’s exclusive Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) Reference Guide
- OHS Act and Regulations pocketbook (Green book)
- A digital copy of the JHSC certificate of completion upon successfully completing the JHSC Part 1 training. We send your training records to MLITSD.
