Our JHSC Part Two: Mining/Construction/Industrial Sectors training program is structured over two days, with each day focusing on three hazard categories.
This two-day course is designed for workplaces with high-risk hazards and are regulated by the mining, construction, and industrial regulations.
Hazards covered on each day include:
Day One: Confined Spaces, Machine Hazards, Heat and Cold Stress in the Workplace
Day Two: Driving Hazards, Slips, Trips, and Falls, and Biological and Chemical Hazards in the Workplace
Training on each hazard focuses on Recognition, Assessment, Control, and Evaluation of Hazard Controls. You will apply a Hazard Management Tool to each hazard, create an action plan, and practice making recommendations to your employer.
While only six hazards (two-days) are required, learners can choose a third day (additional three hazards) if requested by their workplace or as professional development. You can register for all three days here.
