Our JHSC Part Two: Nine hazards training program is structured over three days, with each day focusing on three hazard categories.

While only six hazards (two-days) are required, learners can choose a third day (additional three hazards) if requested by their workplace or as professional development.

Hazards covered on each day include:
Day One: Confined Spaces, Machine Hazards, and Heat and Cold Stress in the Workplace
Day Two: Driving Hazards, Slips, Trips, and Falls, and Biological and Chemical Hazards in the Workplace
Day Three: Musculoskeletal Disorders, Violence and Harassment, and Stress and Mental Health in the Workplace

Training on each hazard focuses on Recognition, Assessment, Control, and Evaluation of Hazard Controls. You will apply a Hazard Management Tool to each hazard, create an action plan, and practice making recommendations to your employer.

If you choose to opt for a two-day course, please look for the options on our course calendar. The two-day options are:
JHSC Part Two: Mining/Construction/Industrial Sectors; and
