How to Register for a Course

If this is the first time you are using SkillsPass, click here to register your company or specific site location. The SkillsPass form asks you to enter your employer name, address, phone number and the name and email address of the person that is going to be keeping track of training for your company. SkillsPass calls these “Administrators” and each company can have up to four administrators. Once we get all that information, SkillsPass configures your company into their system and sends you a welcome email. They turn this around very quickly - at most, in one business day.

Once your company has been configured by SkillsPass, go to our Storefront.  Choose your course date, and add the names of the employees that will be attending an HSPI course. If you’d like some assistance to register, simply send us each employee name, email address, and year of birth. If an employee does not have an email address, we can use a phone number. This is the employee’s unique identification code. Once an employee is added to a course, he/she will receive a confirmation of registration. The confirmation includes the start and end time for the course, location, and any special instructions.

Once the participant successfully completes the course, they will receive an electronic certificate which is always accessible. They may print it off, save it to their hard drive, or access it electronically. The Administrator can access all the certificates issued for their company. Any other company that uses SkillsPass will use the same process, and you can access all of your certificates in one location. For Basic Certification courses, the employee must consent to their employer accessing the certificate.
