Health & Safety Professionals Inc. offers a two-day course that assists supervisors and employers in meeting their legal obligation of appointing “competent” supervisors in Ontario.
As a supervisor, you will discuss legal requirements imposed by legislators and will learn how to incorporate your knowledge into due diligence. You will learn how to be a leader in safety and how to manage contractors. We will discuss which incidents you need to report and how to complete an incident investigation.
This course is appropriate for all sectors in Ontario and includes the topics from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development’s “Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness in 5 Steps.”
