Our JHSC Part Two: Healthcare/Public Services training program is structured over two days, with each day focusing on three hazard categories.

This two-day course is specific to sectors that are public facing.

Hazards covered on each day include:
Day One: Driving Hazards, Slips, Trips, and Falls, and Biological and Chemical Hazards in the Workplace
Day Two: Musculoskeletal Disorders, Violence and Harassment, and Stress and Mental Health in the Workplace

Training on each hazard focuses on Recognition, Assessment, Control, and Evaluation of Hazard Controls. You will apply a Hazard Management Tool to each hazard, create an action plan, and practice making recommendations to your employer.

While only six hazards (two-days) are required, learners can choose a third day (additional three hazards) if requested by their workplace or as professional development. You can register for all three days here.
